Very beautiful compositionally. The concept is eloquent and well executed but I think that the grey roses could have been handled better. Your hands and rose are so beautiful and tastefully crafted, but the grey oval border seems to be a bit too "easy" of an answer. What did you originally intend for this piece? That can help me better understand what types of solutions I can recommend. Overall this is striking. It did what art should do, stopped me. It reached out and took my heart and handed it back to me as a rose. Thanks for the sublime moment.

Hi Justin ,

This one is one of my early photos and when I was making this composition , i didn't know how to use PS effectively at that times... Maybe it could be better as you said. Anyway , Gray roses represents pessimism which causes dying of something ... And the hands represent optimism which renews everything. The gray oval border is just a light which represents the trust.. I just wanted to give a message like believing is everything.. This was too amateurish but at least i tried :) Thank you very much for your nice critic :aww:

You are welcome. I know as an artist critiquing is a touchy subject. I'mm one of those that wants it and likes being around others that are just as ambitious. But it's also good to know when not to crit something. I'm glad you learned something from the attempt. And considering it was an amateur work, I'd say you were very successful. Plus, I'm a sucker for symbolism.

no problems, i love the light effects in it, and the positions of the hands just looks great
